Having had the pleasure of meeting my old school teacher today (12/1/03) and talking of fond memories regarding N46 (The Ghost Room) at Meols Cop School, I'm happy to inform readers of Toms retirement.

Ex Meols Cop School Art Teacher Tom Lally is near to completing his latest book in the collection of " Tales Weird and Whimsical "
Tom who suffered a set back last year due to ill health is now fighting fit and back on track.
He taught at Meols Cop School from 1962 until 1991.
The book is guaranteed to both fascinate and frighten in equal measure. Ten chilling tales are accompanied by the author's own detailed drawings about ghost trail, and, once again the prime ingredients for this midnight feast of terror can be found around the West Lancashire Plain.
These are gruesomely blended with the author's own fertile imagination to whet the appetite of readers, young and old.
The book is due out later this year.
Tom also spends his spare time playing in the local Swing Band, Brithish Legion and Brass Bands.
