Although the processes to produce deionised and distilled water are different, the results are (mostly) the same.
The reason behind needing deionised for PC cooling are simply to reduce a build up of scale. Distilled will also work, as would tap water or a bottle of flat coke! The important thing is to reduce the amount of residue created by the rapid heating and cooling - so in that respect, distilled would be better provided it was produced from pure steam.
Of course, deionised would likely cause less short circuit in the event of a leak... but ... wet is wet....

i know if it leaks it would still probably do some damage, but deironised water would corrode the the waterblocks.

Don't be taken in by the blurb, water cooling is a very simple thing but bigged up because of the potential damage in the event of a leak. Unless you have a warranty requiring distilled water just use standard deionised. Also, you say deironised which suggests removed iron, not the case - ions refer to electrolytes.
Most PC upgraders will happily sell you coloured water, even UV reactive water, all of which is ion rich. The important thing here is cooling efficiency, you can spend £15/month on "special" water to protect your cooling system, or replace your £100 cooling system every 3 to 4 years, assuming your PC lasts that long.

I was reading on other forums that the deionised water would get the ions back from the coppper waterblocks corroding them and become conductive again.
And I dont want UV reactive dyes in it, Im going to use blue tubing anyway, I upgraded my PC last year so i will keep it for at least another year. my specs are
Q6600 @ 3.7GHz
Asus P5Q pro
2x ATI HD4850 Crossfire
4GB RAM
2x 500GB Samsung F1 Spinpoints in RAID0
1TB WD Caviar Black
Antec 902

Nice specs
No, copper is fairly inert. It is true that there is a degree of ion transfer, but you wouldn't notice. It's a marketing ploy exagerated by people who have bought into the idea.
Seriously, cool cpu's is the goal but there are so many people out there offering the perfect solution. What is your current CpU use? on average? Ignore the spikes for now. Also, how much RAM and HDD free space?

45? Too cool for school! And that is a very respectable load during gaming.
BTW. what do you think of Win 7? I've been using it since January on my production PC, only popping back to XP on occasion to use Visual Studio. Just wish file search worked!

I know that they are good tempretures but sometimes it gets to over 60C, my room gets to about 35C during hot days
I like windows 7, it seems just like Vista but with a differant task bar lol. It is starting to look a bit like a mac though , I used vista ultimate, I only installed it becuase i could not 'find' a x64 copy of vista.
i still dont understand what was wrong with vista and why it wasnt so popular.

Even 60 is good - different CPUs have different heat specs but 60 is pretty cool.
The problem with Vista is it tries too hard! It takes control away from the user and assumes you know nothing and should be protected from yourself. It also put a huge burden on the hardware. Win 7 is what Vista should have been. Trust me, you are far better off with Win7 that Vista64!
The comparison to Mac is spot on - in fact I have Mac OSX running in triple boot with Win7 and XP on my HP laptop - as much as I dislike Macs, I have to admit it is pretty!
