babyballet In National Children’s Awards Scheme
The voting lists for the prestigious What's On 4 2010 Awards have just been announced and babyballet is among the nominees!
The award programme, which is again supported by Prima Baby & Pregnancy magazine, is now in its fourth year and celebrates the best activities across the UK, as nominated and voted for by parents.
This year, the awards are bigger than ever, covering 13 different categories ranging from Best National Pre-Schooler Activity to Most Outstanding Community Group Volunteer for children.
Over 2500 nominations in total were made this year and babyballet Southport & Formby is a nominee in the ‘Best Pre-Schooler Development Activity’ (2-5 year olds) category meaning they received many nominations from parents to go through to the voting stage.
The award winning babyballet has dance schools throughout the UK from Scotland down to Kent with over 3,000 pupils enjoying the cute, fun and lively classes every week. The babyballet ethos encourages every child to enjoy the benefits of singing and dancing in a fun, exciting and non-competitive environment with the classes encouraging every child to reach the best of their own natural ability and most importantly to have fun!
Miss Jennifer from babyballet Southport & Formby said: " It is such and exciting time and we are honoured to be nominated, all the children and supporters of babyballet Southport & Formby would really appreciate the people of Southport and Formby's vote to help us in our quest to win the Title."
From 8th March to end of April 2010, parents can log onto
www.whatson4littleones.co.uk and vote for their favourite clubs, groups, classes and party entertainers from all of the nominees that have qualified so it would be fantastic if parents would support babyballet in their quest to win the award for their category.
The winners of the awards will be announced on 27th June 2010 at the Baby Expo Brighton and presented with their award certificate by Phil Gallagher from Cbeebies Mister Maker and the winners of the community awards will also receive prizes for their groups including £500 for the Most Outstanding Baby and Toddler Group award sponsored by Halos N Horns.
And everyone who nominates or votes has a chance to bring their family to the awards ceremony to meet Mister Maker in person!
Every children's activity and party entertainer in the UK has had the chance to be nominated, making the awards a true representation of how parents feel towards what is on offer for their children.
What's On 4 founder Sam Willoughby said: "I'm so excited about our 2010 Awards! Everyone through to this stage should be very proud that parents feel strongly enough that they have taken the time to nominate. But I can't wait to see the results of the voting."
