Preparations are under way for the Southport Air Show 2002.
Southport beach is full of activity with marquees being erected, flight path markers have been placed along the beach and the control tower is now in place.

Pedestrian Entrance - £2 per person
Vehicle Entrance - £17 (Driver and Passengers)
Under 7's Entrance - Free

10am - 1pm. 97.4 Rock FM roadshow in the central arena
Model Aircraft display
Exhibition Village opens (10am - 5pm)
Interactive Features open including simulators, inflatables, 50ft Para descent Tower & Assault Course, static RAF Black Hawk and pilot training unit and Ministry of Defence display plus much more. (10am - 5pm)
1pm. Main aircraft display featuring the following :-
4 Para drop (over 50 will jump!), RAF Falcons, SAR Sea King, Merlin, Sea Vixen, Team Alpine Sukhoi, Tucano, Lynx, Tornado GR1, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Khalifa Jet Team, Hunter, A team of Harriers (4), Jaguar, Microlease Extra Duo, Hawk, Corsair, Aerostars, RN Sea King.
The above list is not in order of appearance. All the above are subject to operational military commitments and weather.
