Are City playing tomorrow?
Devil in disguise,
The sad thing is there is plenty of people out there who will buy this stuff off them. A few years ago where someone I know works, there would be shoplifters coming in taking orders from some members of staff as to what items they wanted stolen and these people would go out and get them. Whether it be coats, boots, alcohol, or meat seemed a popular choice. They would even have their children with them sometimes. I was there one day when I heard this take place so I rang the shop they were going to to pre warn them that someone was on the way to steal a coat from them and I described what they were wearing. That seemed to fizzle out eventually but only when staff eventually decided it wasn't worth the risk.
I know for a fact a well known high street chemist lost £1700 worth of goods in two days taken one thief £1500 on one day goods taken where razor blade(£75 per packet) shavers batterys and toothpaste...Lucky they caught him on the second time
but what i couldnt get over is the bloody cheek of him coming back for a second go
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity
Unfortunately due to laws, A security guard can ONLY stop someone OUTSIDE the store IF they have observed the person select the goods, observed the person conceal the goods, then observed the person leave the store without making any attempt to pay for the goods.
Like I said, Unfortunately, a member of staff or a member of the public telling a security guard that they have seen someone "shoving things" in a bag or their coat or whatever is not enough for a guard to stop the person and NO guard will as the consequences for wrongful arrest are severe
